Poor TV Sound?

A question I hear several times a week is 'I have just bought this new tv and the sound is awful. I can't make out the words at any volume'

As tvs get slimmer and cheaper the sound becomes worse and worse.

Many are appalling, worse than your tube television from 10-15 years ago!

While one solution is to buy a Loewe tv, this doesn't help if you've bought a tv already.

 Bose have just come up with solutions called Cinemate

At it's simplest Cinemate adds 2 small speakers and a subwoofer to your tv output. There is no switching so whatever is showing on the screen is what you get the sound from. All you have is a volume control.

Couldn't be simpler!

Cinemate has 3 levels, £550, better speakers at £ 750, or a Soundbar with sub for £ 1300

All of these will vastly improve your tv sound, but the Soundbar looks and sounds best. While at first glance £1300 is a lot you are actually getting the performance of the £ 2400 Bose Lifestyle 135 without the switching. All you pay for is the sound quality of whatever is showing on the tv screen, which is exactly what most of us want. Actually that's a bargain!
