So you've invested in bluray and Sky/Virgin Hd and you want to fire it into a few more rooms.

What next?

Well the cables you need are completely different from the old analogue tv co-ax and even in a new build home the specification you need is quite different

To really future proof we now use a multiple cable that looks like a small hosepipe but covers everything we can think of.

Freesat, freeview, HD, and iplayer can all go down this one cable making the installation much neater.

The cabling is the beginning, then you need to look at how many sources you need fed to how many screens. A switching matrix can take 4-8 sources, sat Hd, blu ray, media servers etc, to groups of 4, 8, 16, or even 32 display devices, but be careful with this part, this is the expensive bit!
